Frankly I don't know what to think about this one. General comments - it can be read in one sitting...I love fairy tales, just not these. That being said, I found some of them quite interesting, some just distasteful, and some plain weird. I can't wait to see what questions come up for discussion on this website!

I didn't get around to Alias Grace (or any other book) last month, but I'm determined to read it. I'm not sure what I'll think, but after perusing the book, I'm certain it was expand my horizons.

I should clarify I'll be reading Transformations this month. Someday I'll get around to Alias Grace.

Looking forward to getting those questions posted soon, Cathy! Did you get my comment on your blog about your winning the last prize?

Kristy, I need to get back to it, too. I couldn't get through it (reading slump), but I think I'll enjoy it when the mood hits.

I have to agree with Cathy about some of these being interesting, some weird, and some distasteful. I read Grimm's original fairy tales and know that the versions I was told growing up were changed and made more kid friendly. TO see someone use the original versions is interesting.
