I decided to substitute another Russian novel and read Home of the Gentry this month.

I substituted Jane Eyre and my review is up on my goodreads account. I haven't yet done an official blog post.

I'll post my review in a day or two.

I fully admit Nabokov is a great writer, BUT.... I'm still disgusted by the subject matter so it will be very hard to rate!

I agree with 3m. This is a very well-written book, but the subject matter is disturbing. It was interesting though to get a glimpse into the mind of a pedophile. He knew what he was doing was wrong and even felt some remorse, but couldn't (or wouldn't) stop.
